The Oscar Race of 2003 (or is it 2002?)

I just want to say, I'm a big fan of the pomp and circumstance surrounding this self-congratulatory Hollywood program. I'm really glad they kept the Oscars going this year, especially with all the hoopla concerning the war. I wasn't a big fan of the ABC cut-ins - I think they overlapped some of Steve Martin's commentary. Okay, you know my life is somewhat disturbed if I'm more fascinated with STEVE MARTIN than WAR. Good grief - hopefully I'm not really this shallow or horrible.

Michael Moore... WOOOWEEEEE. Sorry, I lapsed into ultra-hick Texan for a second there. I agree with what he said. But I'm not too sure about that delivery.

Dresses... hrm. Tasteful, lovely... I didn't particularly like Jennifer Lopez's get up. And Hilary Swank... I was split on that. Catherine Zeta Jones... she looked lovely.

I scored decently on my "Oscar voting ballot" - I correctly guessed over half of the awards at the ceremony. I was pretty impressed, even though others in the room had better accuracy. I enjoyed the Oscar watching party. I went over to Josh, Jonathan, and Robbie's apartment. Lo and behold... Megan Densmore was there! It was lovely seeing her - I've missed hanging out with her and Josh. We ordered pizza, flopped on the couch, and made horrible comments on events of the night. It was fun - I've missed hanging out with them.
