Seamstress.. I am not.

I cannot sew worth a flip. I found this out while repairing the "sign" for our room. I needed to stitch some velco on the back to keep it on the door... but I did the worst job possible at that task. At least the thread's navy, just like the background of the sign.

I'm amazed at my mother's embroidery skills. They're fabulous. I'm jealous - maybe I should take it up.

Evidence of my mom's handiwork - remember this is just something she made at the last minute and put in a care package. I love my mom.
