Throwing a party is a lot harder than it looks.

Oh, but I think people enjoyed themselves. I'd venture to say we had about 150 people attend, at least.

The menu:
7 layer bean dip
Chili Frito Pie
French Onion dip and ruffles
Salsa, Queso, and tortilla chips
Vegetable plate
Pizza (Varieties included Cheese, Pepperoni, Pineapple, Mushroom, Sausage)
Peach cobbler
Pecan pie
Snickerdoodles
Peanut Butter Cookies
Chocolate Chip cookies
Ice cream (Neapolitan, Vanilla, Chocolate fudge) with whipped cream, pecans, chocolate syrup and cherries)

I made all of the appetizers and desserts, along with the help of chef extraordinaire, Alex. The pecan pie didn't set quite right... but it still tasted good.
I incorporated the Texas theme into all parts of the party - Texas flags adorned the walls, red bandanas served as part of the table cloth, I had a flower arrangement with yellow roses and bluebonnets... it was a lot of fun. We used a projector, so the game was particularly large.

Overall, it was very well done. I'm proud.

Now I'm going to fail my CTCS 464 final tomorrow.
