I went to a party in Malibu tonight.

I took a resident. We got there late, and we laughed at the drunk people. Then I introduced her to Nels, Jon, Shawn, and Neil. We had a good time, standing on the sand, exchanging stories. Tania and I laughed some more as the sound of the surf added another mellow element to the conversation.

We didn't stay very long, but I haven't had that much fun in a while. I miss hanging out with Nels and his crowd - I really haven't done it since the Radiohead concert back in September. They always make me smile. It's nice to know a group of fun-loving, attractive boys. I feel pretty when I'm with them, not cheap or boring. It's rare to find decent people in the shallow 'SC social scene.

Tania and I went to Norm's for after-party grub. I've discovered the joys of turkey burgers without cheese.

Oh, yes, and I also saw Part I of the Series Finale of Friends today. I went to the second-to-last taping EVER... I saw the last use of Central Perk. Everyone was crying. Except for me. I was never very emotional over television shows.

My residents are funny. I'm going to have a headache tomorrow, though. There's a huge roommate conflict brewing, and I know that I'm going to be mediating something rather soon. Right now, I'd rather go to sleep.
